Nurse Retention Coaching

  • 27% of new hire nurses quit within 3 months,

  • it costs a healthcare organization $58,650 to hire, train, and onboard a new nurse.

Let's change that.

About

Hello. I'm Karen. I'm a clinical nurse educator and certified coach, with 30 years of experience as a business woman, and small business consultant both in non-acute healthcare, and direct knowledge of successful nurse retention strategies and building program curriculum.

I specialize in coaching teams to build robust nurse onboarding programs that help your nurses thrive and want to stay.  With the fast evolving post pandemic changes in healthcare delivery, competitive companies are adding more telehealth services. With the alluring desire for a better work-life balance, nurses want to work in these emerging disciplines. However, there are challenges for nurses to adapt to a completely different type of nursing that is clinic, remote and telehealth.

And that can cost medical groups and providers millions in nurse turnover costs.

Nurse Coaching Services

My coaching programs focus on guiding your team to successfully transition nurses from inpatient to outpatient clinic and remote nursing. Let me help guide you in creating a transition training program, cut the turnover cost and keep good nurses.
